Glenburnie - Day 3 & 4

The past few days have been filled with data collection on green crabs, a wildlife watching trip with Quoddy Link Marine, a tour of Sir William Van Horne's Estate on Ministers Island, and time to make some marine themed art.  Currently, the group had headed into St. Andrews to do some shopping.

Collecting data on an invasive species, the green crab.

Some were pretty big!

Our boat for the wildlife cruise.

Heading out into the chilly Bay of Fundy.

Checking out the harbour seal haul out site.

Viewing a seabird colony.

There were lots of birds on nests.

One of the beautiful lighthouses on the coast.

We saw a gorgeous bald eagle.

Walking across the ocean floor to visit Van Horne's Estate on Ministers Island.

Having a look at Van Horne's massive barn.

Learning a bit of history about the beautiful estate.
