Ocean S.T.E.A.M™ - Exploring Engineering Design for Ocean Applications, May 2022

As part of the Huntsman Marine Academy™ brand of lifelong learning, Ocean S.T.E.A.M.™ is designed to provide individual students, ages 15-18, an opportunity to attend an immersive week-long course of interest and explore future career pathways in the ocean sector. These courses are delivered by a range of professionals in their specific area of expertise Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and/or Mathematics.

This week we were happy to welcome participants for the Ocean S.T.E.A.M.™ field course, Exploring Engineering Design for Ocean Applications. The instructor this week was Mr. Deji Ayoola, a Professional Engineer with over a decade of experience working in the offshore upstream oil and gas industry. Presently, he is also the owner of the New Brunswick S.T.E.A.M. education franchise – Snapology. Snapology offers programs that teach children the concepts of S.T.E.A.M using a familiar medium to get them engaged. He loves introducing people of all ages to mechanical concepts and particularly engaging children in the foundations of engineering and technology concepts.

Please find below some photos from the week of career exploration.
