Young Explorer Days at the Aquarium

Each week this summer the Fundy Discovery Aquarium will present two children's programs, based on the theme for that week.  The programs are designed for students aged 7 to 12 and include: educational games, themed activities, crafts and possibly a field excursion. 

Each week there will be a full day course (9:30am to 3pm) on Saturdays and a half day course (9:30am to 12 noon) on Wednesdays. 

Themes during the summer include:

·         July 2 to 8 - Plankton Week

·         July 9 to 15 - Invertebrate Biodiversity Week

·         July 16 to 22 - Invasive Species Week       

·         July 23 to 29 - Seabird Week

·         July 30 to August 5 - Shark Week                     

·         August 6 to 12 - Working on the Water Week

·         August 13 to 19 - Whale & Seal Week

·         August 20 to September 1 - Ocean Appreciation Week
