Every other Friday the Fundy Discovery Aquarium hosts a Lunch and Learn series at noon in the Dunn Science Theatre. While you enjoy your delicious lunch of sandwiches, salads and cookies you can learn about interesting marine related topics from people around the world via Skype or live in person. Past topics have included ROPOS a Canadian submersible that has been used around the world, marine mammal rescue in BC, and seahorse research.
Upcoming topics in the series include:
· July 6, CSI – Whales; Michael Moore, via Skype from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution discusses investigating the deaths of marine mammals to find out more about them.
· July 20, Musquash and the Gully; Maxine Westhead from the Bedford Institute of Oceanography will join us in person to discuss the Musquash Estuary and the Bay of Fundy.
