Laval Liberty - Day 4

This morning the students completed the rotation of barnacle behaviour and echinoderm labs.  Then with all of their work completed the students headed into the town of St. Andrews to go sight seeing and to shop for souvenirs.  The weather was beautiful and sunny, great for walking around town.

Just before boarding the bus to head home this evening the students all presented their zonation posters.  There were some great posters and some very lovely St. Andrews shirts in the crowd!

The group is now on the road home.  Thank you for a great week.  Safe travels!

Drawing of the oral side of the sea urchin.

The students even got the opportunity to see a number
of the sea urchins broadcast spawning (very cool!).

Timing the flipping rate of a sea star.

Waiting for the temperature to change.

Counting the number of times the cirri are extended from the barnacle.
