Glenburnie - Day 5

This morning the Glenburnie students studied the connection between art and biology with two local artists from the Sunbury Shores Art and Nature Centre.  Mabel and Robert lead the students through the making of fish prints and painting with watercolours.  Wow, there are some very talented artists in the group as you will see from the pictures below.

This evening the group will be flying back to Ontario.  We wish you safe travels and hope to see you all again in the future!

Beautiful harbour seal painting.

A study of crabs.

Painting by the touch tank.

Making a fish print with a flounder.

Some of the students used shells to make prints also.

This fish print turned out quite nicely.

The girls working on whales tails based
on a mural in the children's area.

Lovely lobster!

The begins of an atlantic salmon watercolour.
