Quispamsis - Day 2

Today a second group of Grade 6 students from Quispamsis participated in the same activities as the previous classes. They studied plankton, the local lobster, how scientists classify living things and also learnt about the tides and a little about our resident seals.

Snorkel studies the students as they study him.

Some students and teachers preferred to watch from inside where it was warm.

These students enjoyed a short break by the touch pool.

In the theatre, students learnt about the local species of lobster.

Also in the theatre, students viewed a short film about the Bay of Fundy tides.

Students were extremely engrossed in the plankton activities.

It required great focus to identify the plankton species.
