This past July we hosted a fun, summer field course for students and teachers that was an introduction to current research projects at the Huntsman. We had a great group of participants that came from St. Andrews, Ontario, Quebec and as far away as Germany. The participants assisted Huntsman scientists to gather data on:
· invasive species, such as green crabs,
· invertebrate biodiversity,
· aquaculture, and
· songbird populations and migration.
It was a great week, with wonderful people, fun activities and gorgeous weather! Now we look forward to the 2012 summer field courses!
