We have been busy the past week in preparation for Tracey’s annual trip to the Science Teachers’ Association of Ontario (STAO) conference, which is being held November 10-12 in Toronto. At the Huntsman booth Tracey will be providing information about all of our education programs, including Grade 6 Ocean Discovery, high school field courses, and summer courses for students, teachers and adults. Also at our booth there will be beautiful sand dollar souvenirs and for sale, awesome posters of local marine species. Recruited to assist Tracey at the booth are Barbara Hewitt and Karena Bowman from Glenburnie School, in Oakville and Jeff Ruttan from Bell High School, Ottawa. These three teachers have brought students to the Huntsman for many years and can give the teacher perspective on our programs.
